This intriguing show takes classical songs, stories and music and weaves them through with percussion, musical improvisation and virtuosic castanets. With an award-winning ensemble of musicians and Nicola in the role of Margarita, La Casa Del Amor has been performed in many prestigious venues. It has been widely reviewed and been featured on local and national radio.

MARGARITA Y MARCOS – LORCA PROJECT:
Taking her expertise in Spanish culture, music and poetry into a duo, Nicola teams up with gipsy flamenco guitarist Marcos for more improvisation and musical storytelling with dramatic recitations of the poetry of Federico Garcia Lorca and his 12 song settings of gipsy and flamenco folk songs. First showing will be on May 24th in Coventry as part of the National Flamenco Festival.
First performed at the World Conference of Shakespeare and Johnson at the University of Oxford to commemorate the brilliance of the Bard in song, this charming event combines song, poetry and the music of Shakespeare's time with fascinating anecdotes.
